The Gran Turismo was Univega's second from the top of the line of their grand touring bikes. These bikes were well known for their hi-tensile xxxx butted steel frames and high quality Suntour components. Despite the steel frames, they were very lightweight, durable and fun to ride.
This one is no exception. It was expertly powder coated a beautiful Mediterranean Metallic Blue by Class Act Powder Coating Inc. in Portland, OR (they painted the bike frames in the xxxx Summer Olympics).
